Screw conveyors are reloading –transportation devices used for transportation of materials bars and are used in almost all production branches from mining to the food processing industry.
Based on auger type, screw conveyors are commonly classified into two types:
- Tube-based;
- Casing-based.
Depending on transported materials and requirements of the designer, we are able to select the most suitable solution. Elements for the selection of the most suitable type of screw conveyor are capacity, type of transported material, and the length of the transport route. Screw conveyors are standardized based on the diameter, therefore the size i.e. diameter is determined based on the required capacity.
Production of screw conveyors is based on the installation of already completed basic circuits and elements. The combination of these elements are manufactured transporters whose technical characteristics can meet the broad range of technological requirements.
